It doesn’t matter if you are new to being a family caregiver or if you’ve been doing it for years. It’s just hard. It’s hard emotionally, it’s hard financially and it can reap havoc on a the health of the family caregiver. Although we provide in home care services, we also provide at no charge access to our Family Learning Center. The Family Learning Center was built for the purpose of training family caregivers. It’s our way of letting family caregivers know that they aren’t alone and that they can get some training. It has over 40 hours of training of which over 25 hours is dedicated to Alzheimer’s and Dementia training.
