Cathy Shiroda Joins Generations Home Care, LLC as Chief Executive Officer

PHOENIX, Ariz — Sept 7th, 2018 — Generations Home Care, LLC today announced that Cathy Shiroda has joined the organization as Chief Executive Officer.

Mrs. Shiroda comes to Generations Home Care with a long history of success in the home care industry. Previously, she served for over ten years in a leadership role for one of the largest home care agencies in Arizona, which provided services to people of all ages, needs, and challenges. Prior to her in-home care and community-based experience, she worked as a regional sales and training director and as a national sales and marketing director for a large retailer for nearly twenty years.

Mrs. Shiroda has been deeply involved in community outreach endeavors throughout Arizona, focusing primarily on health care issues and solutions. She has also volunteered for numerous community-based health care coalitions and boards in Arizona, which serve the aging population, veterans, and the intellectually and developmentally disabled population.

“We’re so excited for Cathy to join our team here at Generations Home Care,” co-owner Cheryl Lovell said. Her expertise in business, brand, and strategic partnership development will help grow our business. And her plans for staff development will ensure that our clients continue to receive the highest quality of care.”

Generations Home Care co-owner Bill McKusick concurs. “We know Cathy will be a fantastic addition to the leadership team here at Generations Home Care,” McKusick said. “She brings valuable new ideas and a fresh enthusiasm that will help our company meet the incredible growth our industry will see over the coming years.”

Mrs. Shiroda will be responsible for building Generations Home Care connections to care program, continuum of care strategic partnerships, veteran services programs, private pay services, worker’s compensation, as well as staff development and retention programs.

“I look forward to integrating technology with compassionate care to better serve and communicate with our care team members, continuum of care partners, clients, and their family members, Shiroda said. “Online training for continuing education courses related to caregiving skills for both caregivers and family members will also be a focus. My passion is building pathways to care and support services and easy navigation to local resources. Together we can make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.”

About Generations Home Care

Generations Home Care provides affordable in-home care and support for families within Maricopa County, Arizona. We learn about our client’s needs through a complimentary in-home assessment and create a unique, customized care plan together.

Our experienced CNA’s, home health aides, and caregivers specialize in a variety of conditions to best assist our clients and their loved-ones. While Generations Home Care utilizes a specific and detailed care plan, it’s not all about going through a checklist and completing tasks. For us, it’s about connecting with a positive and caring attitude, asking the right questions, building a strong relationship, and providing, if needed, connections to care outside of our non-medical in-home care scope of services.

We pride ourselves on our on-line Family Learning Center. For our clients, their family members and other health care professionals we collaborate with, it’s about providing peace of mind and the highest quality care services.
