If you missed the Arizona Premier of“14 Days with Alzheimer’s” don’t worry. Due to the high demand, we are bringing it back in April. This time it will be screened at four locations and times. The screenings are FREE with RSVPs to (602) 595-4663 or here.
The 29-minute film is based on Lisa Cerasoli’s award-winning memoir, As Nora Jo Fades Away. Cerasoli is a former actress (series regular on General Hospital and recurring roles on The Pretender, Boomtown, Diagnosis Murder and Pensacola). She was recently on The Dr. Drew Show (You Tube footage: LisaMarieCerasoli) regarding her experience as a family caregiver for her grandmother.
City Pulse Magazine gave “14 DAYS…” an Exceptional Film Review stating, “The subject matter evokes laughter and sadness in equal measure, often within seconds. The film’s portrayal of love in the face of mental decline is about as heartbreaking as one might expect, but surprisingly humorous and oddly reassuring.”
“14 DAYS with Alzheimer’s” has won ten national awards since its August release including; Audience Choice Award: Life & Death Matters, Boulder Film Festival, “Best of Fest” Awards’ Finalist, Seattle, Win: LA Reel Film Festival and a Platinum Award: Nevada Film Festival.
Following the screening, Lisa Cerasoli will be available for questions and answers and a book signing.
