Our Hiring Process
The first of many steps in our hiring process is to apply. You can start the process by filling out our online application.
Once your application is received, it is reviewed by our HR Department for accuracy and compatibility. Next, we conduct a simple phone interview to get to know each other better. When both sides feel that we are a good match, we set up a face-to-face interview. Interviews are a great opportunity to get comfortable and get questions answered for everyone.
After completing the interview process, we invite the most well-matched applicants to our 2-hour Orientation. This orientation is required by Generations Homecare and includes everything from communicating with clients and family, to safety training and fall prevention, to nutrition and meal planning, to personal care, to Alzheimer’s/Dementia/Parkinson’s Care and just about everything in between.

The final steps to our hiring process include a detailed Background Check through an independent agency and the matching of Caregiver to Client which is completed by our HR Department.
Our hiring process may be extensive but it’s well worth it! By the time we ask someone to join our team, we are totally confident that we can train and match our Caregivers to their perfect client which ensures a long, rewarding and productive relationship for all.
